Activation Work: The Fourth Phase of Personal Spiritual Development

In our recent articles, we have been sharing our perspectives on the five basic phases of personal transformation that must be unfolding, to one degree or another, for each of us...these are the essential spiritual processes of self-empowerment, clearing, healing, activation work and manifestation.

We see the self-empowering process of awakening to spirit and the clearing of the chakras and subtle bodies as the foundation of spiritual evolution, contributing dramatically to your ability to heal. And we have described the healing process for all of our bodies, both subtle and physical, as simply a return to wholeness and balance. The fourth phase..activation...requires a little deeper understanding of the nature of the human energy field.

As we orchestrate our learning lessons in life and awaken ourselves to new and expanded ways of thinking and feeling, our progress along our respective spiritual paths can occur quite naturally. However, many of us feel that our preparation work for higher spiritual service must be stimulated and enhanced beyond the natural unfolding that may be taking place. For some, there is even a growing sense of urgency to accelerate this process in order to more quickly and better prepare for higher service during the coming times. Typically, activation work is the key to continued acceleration along one’s spiritual path! Etheric activation work is generally "an inside job" as your Higher Self energies orchestrate your spiritual development. However, initiations, activations and attunements for a wide range of beneficial energetic purposes can be provided by the celestial masters, our celestial friends and by energy work practitioners in physical body. Activation work is fundamentally about the fine-tuning and perhaps rearranging of your basic energy coding and patterns as stored in your chakras and subtle bodies. As you clear and heal your energies, greater levels of energetic activations are possible within your fields!

One type of activation experience can be in the form of small, quantum changes in your energy structure. You could say that little energy circuits are turned on in order to increase your capacity to handle more Light, to bring forward certain gifts and talents or for other appropriate transformational purposes. This idea of quantum changes in your energy structure represents one end of the broad spectrum of possibilities for activations within your fields.

Compared to these small changes, when the equivalent of "little switches are being turned on," there are major activations that you may be experiencing as part of your spiritual preparation work. These major activations would be more like having your finger stuck in a 240 volt socket for a while. Activations of this type truly "amp up your energies" and sometimes can result in the rearranging of what we call "your energy construct"...the actual configuration of your chakra and subtle body system. Representing the other end of the spectrum, these powerful shifts can actually result in the reduction in the number of major chakras within your fields, as you begin to carry more Light and operate as a more "efficient and effective" energy system. These more dramatic forms of activation work also create major shifts in your belief structures, perspectives, perceptions and even your sense of yourself. Experiences of this type are often called "spiritual initiations" and "walk-in" events.

For those of you on a "fast track" for spiritual development, your progression of self-empowerment, clearing, healing and especially activation work may be accelerating quite powerfully, propelling you into the next phase...manifestation!
