Ancient scriptures refer to the time between midnight and 4
or 5 AM as being the "ambrosial time".... those hours in your part of the world
when the etheric currents are the clearest and best for meditation and connecting with
Spirit. Have you ever considered taking time for yourself during these hours? Taking time
for your spiritual side...making time to feed your soul? Perhaps it is the very thing you
need! Something different. Something unusual. To take time for yourself when the rest of
your world is quiet and asleep!
These early morning hours can be incredibly beautiful and instill a sense of peaceful
sacredness and connectedness! If you are able to see the night sky, focus your attention
to catch a "shooting star" or just be open to gazing at the stars and losing
yourself in the heavens - perhaps reconnecting with where you came from...perhaps
awakening to who you are and why you are here. Its a time for simply
"Being" - to do nothing, to think nothing. During the ambrosial time, just truly
enjoy the quiet, the night sky, the sounds of the early morning or just the sound of your
own breathing. To be one with yourself and fully, deeply connect with parts of yourself
not easily accessed during energetically busier times! Light a candle and take 20 to 30
minutes to be in deep meditation and communion with the inner essense of your soul during
this glorious time!
Perhaps just as exciting for some of you...the ambrosial time is the best of times to
connect with Gaia, with the animal kingdom, with the nature spirits, with the angelic
kingdom or with our extraterrestrial friends. So just etherically or telepathically go
wherever your are guided or drawn to go!
But getting up so early? "Easier said than done!" you might say. Well...try
to gently release any limiting beliefs that may inhibit you from getting up so early.
Strongly intend that the amount of sleep you get will be enough to allow you to be
functional and rested for the rest of day. Once you let go of the restrictive idea that
you simply HAVE to have a certain number of hours of sleep, you can just step into a new
mode of thinking. Let it all be okay and then make the shift effortlessly. If you feel you
need a little more sleep, you can always take a nap later in the day or simply go back to
sleep after enjoying only a little of the ambrosial time!
As always in such matters, "theres no right way or wrong way" of going
about it. The early morning hours can be a beautiful time to connect with Spirit, but
dont limit yourself by thinking that this is the only time to be connected. Any time
of the day can be good - its whatever works and whatever feels "right" for
you. Tune in to your own inner wisdom.....and enjoy!
