Dear Fellow Lightarians,

As we move into the new season it seems appropriate to talk about cleansing our body, mind, heart and spirit and truly finding one's own truth.  As each person will have a different answer to what is "the" answer for them, it is important that we love ourselves and others through those differences.  Finding one's own truth through what is "right" for us to eat, the tools we use, and the perceptions our mental bodies embrace, in turn, creates our incarnational reality.

Read further to learn more about growing wheat grass to use it to re-fortify our bodies to allowing amethysts to assist our hearts, as well as wise words from the Angels and Ascended Masters and article contributions to assist the expansion of our mental and spiritual bodies.

I would like to thank all of you for your questions and loving responses to our last newsletter.  It will remain available on the website.  So, if you did not have a chance to enjoy it, please click on the following link, once you are finished enjoying this newsletter.  www.lightarian.com/newsletter/newsletter20.htm

Channeling: Circle of LIGHT

through Peggy Zeramby, Lead Teacher, Channel and President, Lightarian Institute, USA

Before the Circle of LIGHT step forward to speak, I would like to take a moment to personally thank all of you for sending in your questions.  They were fantastic.  Please keep them coming!

With Love and Light, Peggy Zeramby

It is with honor that we come forth to speak to you.  In our communications with you, you will find the  answers to your questions.  Some are in depth and others are touched upon.  We wish to speak about that which you, as a community, are able to assist and transform.  Finding One's Own Truth is the title of this newsletter.  We enjoyed this very much and would like to expand upon this subject.  Each individual Being is different from the next, yet we are all the same.  In your incarnational experience, the differences are exaggerated as you are a blend of the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual bodies.  Let us speak about living on the earth plane as a multi-dimensional being.  When your physical body took form, your Spirit/Higher Self joined with your personality/ego.  We would like to share an analogy to help best to visualize what we speak of:

Please visualize your earthly life as a road.  For those of you who decide to live in a physical body, the body is represented in this analogy as a vehicle.  The driver and the vehicle become one.  The desire of the driver (higher self) shifts into high or low gear, or turns right or left and so much more.  The vehicle itself (personality/ego) has its needs and desires.  It desires oil changes, gas, windshield wiper fluid, maintenance, etc.  Actually, the driver desires this as well so that the driver is able to stay on the road and continue to go from place to place.  Even in these simple terms, the creation process is fully in place.

The Law of Attraction is in full force.  What challenges come up or fun adventures present themselves are all based on what the vehicle/driver draws to himself or co-creates with the Universe to experience.  Please accept into your mental body that you are One.  One within your Being --- as a multidimensional being --- and then One with All that Is.  There is no separation.

When we speak of the Ascension process, of allowing one's "higher self" to anchor more fully into your incarnational experience, there is an awareness from our side that your higher self is joined with your earthly aspects.  There is no separation.  The Ascension process can also be viewed as an awareness of where one's choices are sourced from --- physical body, emotional body, mental body, or the spiritual body.  The spirit body is fully connected to all parts of its Being.  It desires to nurture all aspects of who you are in order to maintain its choice to be incarnated.  It deeply respects and honors itSelf as well as All that Is.  When One continuously switches from "cruise control" to allowing your higher Self to be the one to choose speed, etc. there is the ability to choose more options and to co-create even more fluidly.  When we shift to the "driver" navigating, there is less fear, an increase in joy, love and an expanded sense in one's entire being.  All still falls within the Law of Attraction and the co-creation process.

Let us now shift our awareness to Gaia.  Many of you wonder if all the healing support that you send has an impact on future natural disasters.  She is healing.  All of the love that you have and continue to pour into her does make a difference.  Whether you are a Reiki Practitioner or not, as you connect with her energies when taking a walk, gardening in your yards, enjoying her bountiful gifts, simply choose to send her Love and appreciation.  From there, allow your actions to match your intention with recycling, conserving, planting, honoring Gaia and rejoicing in her beauty.

It is true that as of this time, we still see that Gaia will have future releases.  Yet until it happens, there is still room for a different action to occur than the ones that are predicted.  Therefore, we would like you to turn your attention away from living your life in fear of what might or might not happen and to turn your thoughts and emotions to connecting with your inner voice.  Trust that you will “know” when to go, move, stay or whichever action is appropriate for yourself.  As many of you have been learning, the Law of Attraction is in place.  If you visualize yourself in a happy, peaceful space and you maintain that choice, then you will be where you are meant to be when or if Gaia shifts physically.

On one last note, when you do go through "loss" in your world, please grieve in a healthy way.  In the incarnational experience one must grieve, even when we have the awareness that the loved one that has just transitioned over is truly not gone.  Yet, they no longer are "available" in the way that we are used to having them available.  Your mental, emotional and physical parts of your being need to and can adjust.  Our gift to you is that we can see that, once the tears start to dry and you are once again able to look around you, there is love, joy, peace and abundance available to you once again.

Again, we are deeply honored to touch and be touched by all of you.

The Power of Intent:  Fear or Love?
by Jodi A. Zeramby

While in college, I participated in a two-year pilot program that integrated Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences.  This rigorous, innovative course-load introduced me to various masters.  One lesson sought to familiarize us with the complexity of music theory.  As I listen to Beethoven this day, I recall watching a pianist who performed with obvious relish while explaining the mindset of the composer, the flow of music, the crescendos and diminuendos, staccatos and slurs, dissonance, legato, chords, tempo, mood—all which affect the message of the song.

Music is a wonderful way to reflect emotion, don’t you agree?  It can stir the gambit of feelings, all through the manipulation of sound.  According to the density, octave, sustenance, and sharpness of the deliverance of the notes, we may feel soothed, agitated, satisfied, or wanting.  The ebb and flow of a song’s rhythm can cause rage, upheaval, and tightness.  On the other hand, it can relax, complete, and calm.  All are caused by the arrangement of notes in a certain tempo, loudness, and consistency.  Amazing!  For instance, a piano player can stimulate or alleviate a person’s stress just through playing an amalgamation of notes.  A loud silence before a burst of staccato sounds can startle a listener.  In addition, a musician, like an actor, has the ability to interpret what is on the page—the notes, or in an actor’s case, the words—and inflect emotion just through their conveyance.  Even more wonderful is that the musician can change the message of the song every time, even when playing the same exact notes, merely through the strength of the sound, the quickness of the beat, and the juxtaposition of the silences.

Although no words are attached to a musical arrangement, the essence of the message may be stronger than that which any lyrics could convey.  Have you watched a pianist perform?  How the player will seem to be singing the notes as he plays them?  That person is in synch with the emotional resonance of the music, tasting the emotions.  The refrain swells like an incoming wave while the low notes wrap around a person’s heart like a warm blanket, the plink of  higher notes reflect lightness of being, the sharp notes rob the listener of breath, or the flat notes cause trepidation—the emotions are undeniable if we only open our souls to the message within the composition.

I played the clarinet for several years. During that time I nurtured a deep respect for composers, particularly those who created the various instrumental parts for an orchestra.

To be able to transition from strings to percussion, brass to woodwinds, bass to alto—what a nimble mind!  Weaving the notes around, among, above, below other sections of composition—anticipating, kneading, lifting creating—meanings, reactions, emotions, creating the aching anticipation as the song begins, the anxious breath-holding as the song nears its climax, the sense of fulfillment as the various notes evoke their spell and entwine the soul with a feeling of satiation by the song’s end—heady stuff.

Language is an extension of music.  More notes, more complexly linked—yet also used to translate emotion.  We add vocal intonation to cue the listener of the sounds’ meaning.  Even when listening to another language, one can interpret much of the meaning simply by the cadence of the uttered words.  Add on facial and physical cues and an observant person can understand fairly well what message the speaker is transmitting.  Emotions are universal. So, words are a structured sequence of sounds placed together to confer meaning to another.

The pronunciation, enunciation, and invocation of each sound stir the listener in a visceral way.  Emphasizing a syllable with a particular tonality translates a wealth of information.  Sorrow, anger, despair—we hear these messages through the inflection of the words and see them reflected by a person’s body, such as when a speaker’s hands clench, his eyebrows pull down like a thundercloud, and he utters his words in a low, rumbling delivery deriving straight from the gut.  Whereas elation, joy, and happiness are also easy to spot by the speaker’s shining eyes, open face, and open stance.

Words are wonderful, aren’t they? But, I feel I don’t know enough of them.  Sure I’ve heard them, virtually since I was born, and I use them—in my thoughts and in my interactions.  Yet, I feel that I am the master of relatively few words.  Their nuances, their shades of meaning, their colors, their textures, their energy.  The negative and positive connotations, the taste of them when uttered or even called upon in thought. It makes me want to not use words—but how else can I communicate, even if it is only imperfectly?  I love mulling over the feeling of a word, like a fine wine.  Rolling it around in my mouth and mind to feel it reverberate with its essence.  Of course, intention is paramount.  When we invoke a word, the significance attached to it depends upon its delivery, just like in music.  The weight of words becomes oppressive, impressive, expressive.  I could crush with them.  I could embrace with them.  Uplift, rip down, create, destroy with them.  And who am I?  How can I have such power?  Why do I have such power?  How, why do I allow others to possess such power?  We use words so cavalierly, in such a careless way.  Yet, it is one of our best tools for connecting with others.

In John Gardner’s book, Grendel, which is based on Beowulf, the monster says, “Talking, talking, spinning a spell, pale skin of words that closes me in like a coffin.”  The monster is lamenting his state of affairs—others describe him as an unholy being, evil and cruel.  As he hears others’ words, Grendel accepts their points of view and becomes what they say.  He steps into the role, although he was neither evil nor cruel—merely misunderstood, alone, and afraid.  Thus, the power of words.  It can change a person (or in this case, a monster), if one allows, to great good or to great evil. Moreover, the words became its own entity—a living, breathing energy with which Grendel interacted.  He became connected to those who despised him by the link of their words, which he heard and internalized.  He was no longer alone, if only because now he had a purpose—to terrorize the villagers.

Unlike in poor Grendel’s case, words, as music, can bestow great enlightenment.  It can illuminate a person’s heart and soul.  However, words are interpreted.  We insert our point of view by using our own perception, filtered by our experiences.  The way I interpret words may be entirely different from the way you do since we have lived very separate lives.

I once heard a person posit this question: “How does one find truth without fear?”  How, indeed.  Truth is subjective.  It is dependent upon sensory input that the mind receives and interprets.  Truth can be different for each person.  The same with beauty.  Imagination determines beauty and impresses its definition on the senses.  Emotion tinges the perceptions of what constitutes truth or beauty.  In effect truth is beauty.  Moreover, the perception of truth or beauty is not necessarily real.

Why is fear attached to truth?  Is it fear of the unknown?  Fear of not being in control?  Fear of expectations not being met?  Fear of disappointment?  Fear of pain?

If a person seeks the truth from a place of non-judgment and self-love, from a sense of acceptance, no fear will attach to the truth.  Part of claiming one’s power is to recognize that the truth is neither good nor bad—it just is.  There are no mistakes; everything is perfect.  When one accepts, truly accepts, oneself—one accepts truth and all that exists, all that is possible, all that was.

People are predominated by two emotions: love and fear.  All other emotions stem from them.  We label these emotions as positive and negative. Love is the root of all positive emotions—joy, happiness, empowerment, knowledge, passion, eagerness, positive expectation, hope.  Fear is at the other end of the emotional spectrum causing grief, depression, despair, uncertainty, insecurity, anger, worry, doubt.  Think of any emotion—it can go under one of these two categories by how it makes you feel.  I submit for your consideration that one can find truth by embracing love—love of self, love of others, love of life.  The trick is to equate the truth with neither positive nor negative connotations.

William Wordsworth said, “Not Chaos, not the darkest pit of lowest Erebus, nor aught of blinder vacancy, scooped out by help of dreams—can breed such fear and awe as fall upon us often when we look into our Minds, into the Mind of Man.”   It is our minds that create positive and negative emotions.  It is the mind that blocks and frees us.  We create our struggles, our heartbreak, our suffering—all our experiences.  On some level we give ourselves permission to feel “bad.”  Why?  To build character?  To feel worthy of the “good” experiences we allow ourselves?  Why not invest that time and energy into “positive” emotions and “good” experiences?  Focus on accepting what is at each given moment, on being entirely present in the now, while not dwelling on any interpretation or categorization of how your life is unfolding.  See how your perception changes.

Alchemy of Nutrition: Detoxifying the Body

by Linda Meneses, Certified Health Educator, USA and Portugal

We can tune our bodies to the finer energies through detoxification and eating habits that maximize the bioavailability of nutrients.  My intention is to impart information that can be helpful in making decisions about nutrition and the release of toxins.

The benefits of wheat sprouts and wheatgrass juice are well known. (See the list at the end of this article.)  Wheat sprouts are the main ingredient in sprout bread and crackers, and wheat grass juice is THE juice for detoxifying the body and building the blood.  Because they both start out as wheat berries, or seeds, let’s start with how to grow wheat berries into sprouts and then into wheatgrass.

WHEAT SPROUTS – Organic Hard Winter Wheat Berries (seeds)

  1. To determine how much seed is needed, spread the seed evenly across the bottom of the tray or bowl the sprouts will grown in.
  1. Add three times as much water as seed, mixing them into the water to insure complete contact with the water.
  1. Soak for 8 – 12 hours.
  1. Drain off soak water.
  1. Rinse and drain thoroughly.
  1. Place the soaked seed out of direct sunlight and keep at 70˚ Fahrenheit.
  1. 8 -12 hours later rinse and drain thoroughly.  Repeat in another 8 – 12 hours. Repeat every 8 – 12 hours until the root of the sprout is ¼ inch.

 We now have wheat sprouts!

 Sprouted wheat crackers

  1. Grind sprouted wheat in a blender in order to create a thick paste.
  2. Add dehydrated herbs and garlic juice to taste.
  3. Spread over drying trays and dehydrate for 12 – 18 hours in the sun or a dehydrator.

WHEATGRASS JUICE-

  1. Moisten (organic) soil so that it is wet but not soaked.  Allow puddles to dry.  The more soil, the more water will be held in the growing tray.  Spread soil evenly over tray.
  2. Rinse the sprouted wheat one last time and spread over soil so that they slightly lay over each other.
  3. Cover tray with another tray with holes or slits in it for ventilation.
  4. Place in a low light area at 70˚.  (Can be cooler.)
  5. Water lightly twice a day, spraying sprouts until the roots bury themselves into the soil, then water the soil to keep it moist.
  6. Wait 3 or 4 days until the blades are 2-3” tall then uncover and move to a well-lit area.
  7. Keep soil moist for the next 10 days and watch it grow!
  8. Harvest by cutting at soil level.
  9. Juice blades in a juicer made to juice wheatgrass.

In terms of cleansing power and enzyme energy, sprouted wheat and wheatgrass juice are hard to beat.  When part of a living foods program, the therapeutic benefits are multiplied.

It seems from the emails I received from the Lightarian Newsletter readers that the awareness of the idea that cleaner bodies lead to more balanced minds and lighter spirits is increasing.  Nutrition and detoxification can be approached from many ways and each of us must choose according to our path and purpose at this time, so go easy on yourself as you integrate any new habit.

Thank you for all the great feedback!

Sprouted wheat and wheatgrass contain  the vitamins A, B, C, E and K

Calcium, Chlorophyll, Iron, Lecithin, Magnesium, Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus, Potassium, Amino Acids, Trace Elements and Protein: up to 30%.

This list taken from…   http://www.wheatgrasskits.com/40pointsofwheatgrass.htm

Wheatgrass Juice is one of the best sources of living chlorophyll available.

Chlorophyll is the first product of light and, therefore, contains more light energy than any other element.

Chlorophyll is the basis of all plant life.

Wheatgrass is high in oxygen like all green plants that contain chlorophyll.  The brain and all body tissues function at an optimal level in a highly oxygenated environment.

Chlorophyll arrests the growth and development of unfriendly bacteria.

Chlorophyll (wheatgrass) rebuilds the bloodstream.

Farmers in the Midwest who have sterile cows and bulls put them on wheatgrass to restore fertility.  (The high magnesium content in chlorophyll builds enzymes that restore the sex hormones.)

Chlorophyll can be extracted from many plants, but wheatgrass is superior because it has been found to have over 100 elements needed by man. If grown in organic soil, it absorbs 92 of the known 102 minerals from the soil.

Dr. Ann Wigmore and institutes based on her teachings have been helping people get well from chronic disorders for 30 years using wheatgrass.

Chlorophyll washes drug deposits from the body.

Chlorophyll neutralizes toxins in the body.

Chlorophyll helps purify the liver.

Chlorophyll improves blood sugar problems.

In the American Journal of Surgery (1940), Benjamin Gruskin, M.D. recommends chlorophyll for its antiseptic benefits. The article suggests the following clinical uses for chlorophyll: to clear up foul smelling odors, neutralize Strep infections, heal wounds, hasten skin grafting, cure chronic sinusitis, overcome chronic inner-ear inflammation and infection, reduce varicose veins and heal leg ulcers, eliminate impetigo and other scabby eruptions, heal rectal sores, successfully treat inflammation of the uterine cervix, get rid of parasitic vaginal infections, reduce typhoid fever, and cure advanced pyorrhea in many cases.

Wheatgrass Juice cures acne and even helps to remove scars after it has been ingested for seven  to eight months.  The diet must be improved at the same time.

Wheatgrass juice acts as a detergent in the body and is used as a body deodorant.

A small amount of wheatgrass juice in the human diet helps prevents tooth decay.

Wheatgrass juice held in the mouth for 5 minutes will help eliminate toothaches.  It pulls poisons from the gums.

Gargle Wheatgrass Juice for a sore throat.

Drink Wheatgrass Juice for skin problems such as eczema or psoriasis.

Wheatgrass juice improves the digestion.

Wheatgrass juice is high in enzymes.

Wheatgrass juice is an excellent skin cleanser and can be absorbed through the skin for nutrition. Pour green juice over your body in a tub of warm water and soak for 15 to 20 minutes.  Rinse off with cold water.

Wheatgrass implants (enemas) are great for healing and detoxifying the colon walls.

Chlorophyll increases hemoglobin production.

Wheatgrass Juice reduces high blood pressure and enhances the capillaries.

Wheatgrass Juice can remove heavy metals from the body.

Wheatgrass juice is great for blood disorders of all kinds.

Important Note: For those of you dealing with food-related health issues such as variation in blood sugar levels, diabetes, digestive challenges, intestinal issues, etc. , please consult your physician, naturopath or holistic doctor before making any substantial changes in your diet. We always recommend that you be prudent when shifting your diet.

Monica Raza, Brazil

MONICA CRISTINA GUBERMAN RAZA

My professional and spiritual journey began when I was 16 years old and decided to become a clinical psychologist. I was fascinated by the human mind and by the possibility of helping people understand and overcome their problems, but at that time, I didn’t have the slightest idea that a very special path was just about to open up for me. The study of spirituality also began pretty much at the same time through the intense study of as many spiritual books as I could lay my eyes on and through the practices of my spiritual tradition. Those were experiences that allowed me to start getting in contact with the multiple layers of the Spiritual World and the human mind, something that became more and more profound as the years passed by.

I graduated in Psychology in 1984, obtaining a very solid foundation in terms of academic and clinical skills and extending my studies into two post-graduation courses in children and teenagers clinical psychotherapy. Differently from the majority of my colleagues, my understanding about human nature was absolutely connected to the spiritual functioning of the Human Being, which took me into the challenging journey of trying to blend the academic knowledge with the spiritual perspective. It wasn’t until I studied the Bach Flower Remedies while living in London in 1995 that I could integrate Psychology and Vibrational Medicine for the first time in my practice.

My work as a clinical psychologist became much more enriched with the training in Clinical Hypnosis at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis in 1995, the training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming at the Neuro-Linguistic Programming Institute of Washington D.C. in 2001, and finally when I received between the years of 2003 and 2005 the attunements in Usui Reiki, LightarianTM Reiki, the AngelLinksTM, the Lightarian RaysTM, Mari-El Reiki and Violet Flame ReikiTM. What can I say about the Lightarian energies? That they simply amazed me from day one by their beauty, intensity, power and simplicity! After receiving all  six levels of the Lightarian Reiki, the AngelLinks and the Lightarian Rays attunements, very important and meaningful changes happened in my life, energetically, personally and professionally speaking. I became a vegetarian with no effort, my spiritual senses became extremely heightened, my intuition opened up greatly, and the channeling process turned out to be something very much present in my daily life. I found so much peace and harmony deep inside of me. The Lightarian energies simply transformed my life!

Just a little bit before I came back to Brazil in December 2004, after spending 4 years abroad, I became the Lightarian Institute licensee for Brazil and all the Portuguese-speaking countries. What a beautiful sense of joy and commitment, feeling that I was part of something much bigger than me! I have already finished the translation of the Lightarian Reiki and the AngelLinks material, and I am currently going through the process of translation and approval of the Lightarian Rays manuals in Portuguese. Coming back to Brazil was another turning point in my life. A totally new phase began for me and my family. We sold our house in Rio de Janeiro and moved to the countryside, my son and my daughter started college, my husband began his own business and I re-started my clinical practice, but this time I began using a lot of Lightarian Reiki with patients and clients. I have been working with patients in therapy and clients in sessions for the last year and a half, witnessing amazing results. My dream of blending traditional Psychology and Vibrational Medicine came true and I am sure much of this became a reality because of the influence of the Lightarian energies. I have already started giving attunements in Lightarian Reiki and AngelLinks, and it is with true excitement that I gradually see Reiki Masters and students not only in Brazil, but also in Portugal, getting to know about the Lightarian work.

I couldn’t do it without the help of so many people in my life. In the physical world, my daughter Rosamaria, my son Joćo Lucas and Salvador, my husband, have been given me all the strength and support needed. I feel so blessed and so honored for the presence of my spiritual guides and all the enlightened Beings in my life. I have learned and I have grown beyond whatever I could have ever predicted to myself a long time ago. My work with the spiritual realities through Lightarian Reiki, Flower Essences, Tarot readings, Gypsy Cards readings and channeling, has been the major source of inspiration, hope, joy and optimism in my life, telling me that the only way to heal ourselves and this world it is through being at service to others.

FOUNDERS' NOTE:

Eating in the Light…your personal “dance with food”

by Christopher and Jeannine Jelm

In our article last month entitled Understanding the Process of your Spiritual Evolution, we described the spiritual evolution of the individual in terms of three Acts within one’s personal energetic “stage play.”  In Act I of the play, we indicated that potentially intense physical-body and lower-vibrational etheric impacts usually unfold as the spiritual development process focuses on the incarnational self.

Within this metaphoric framework, your “dance with food” can immediately become an important, if not major, issue in the early scenes of Act I.  The requirement for clarity and vibrational purity of the physical body is an essential part of the spiritual development process, so that all levels of etheric energies, and your physical body as well, will be ready to routinely handle greater and greater levels of Light.  Remember, in order to make way for your Soul-energies to become more present in Act II and ultimately more and more of your Higher Self to show up in Act III, you’ll be challenged to create the clearest possible temple…your physical body…to truly anchor these energies into this plane.

The "dance with your food” begins when you start to create “ownership” for your physical body’s condition…by taking full responsibility for your eating choices, habits and addictions. The simple act of taking responsibility will stimulate change in your energy fields (at the levels of spiritual programming and belief structures) which will produce higher frequency, etheric clearing and healing processes. These etheric changes ripple downward vibrationally and stimulate the physical body into clearing and healing on the physical level….setting the stage for potentially powerful shifts in your attitudes and patterns about the foods you eat.

Of course, each of us has a unique way of creating our eating experience…all built around the dietary themes of WHEN, WHAT, HOW…and yes…HOW MUCH.   In response to the etheric shifting taking place on your inner planes, you’ll probably be guided to change your eating habits and to begin to view food in new and different ways.  As you expand your overall spiritual awareness, you’ll also start “listening” to the physical body…by noticing the body’s symptoms, reactions and sensations. These will become important cues and indicators for you as you advance along your path for the clearing, cleansing and healing of the body.

In our experience, potentially dramatic changes in the physical body, as well as detox effects, can be generated by even subtle changes in your diet, so we recommend making only small adjustments within your personal “dance with food.”  And always remember to be gentle and loving with yourself and your body during this process.

Whatever choices you make about your "eating path” as you move along your divinely unfolding “spiritual path,” there should be no judgments about which “diet” or eating style is “best” for you, as well as for others.  You’ll always be guided toward shifts in diet that will serve the highest purpose for you “in the moment.”  Perhaps you’ll be guided to move toward becoming a vegetarian, a vegan or a fruitarian.  Perhaps raw foods will become your thing.  Or you may simply find yourself staying with traditional protein sources such as meats, poultry and fish, but perhaps eating them more lightly or less frequently.

As the “dance” continues, you’ll quickly learn what works for you and what doesn’t work.  Each of us has different tolerance points based on the needs, wants and desires of the physical body…and these need to be honored.  Everyone will be different...so, as mentioned earlier, there’s no place for self-judgment or the judgment of others.  Also, stay open to change as your process advances.  Today’s urging or craving may quickly transform into tomorrow’s new eating pattern.  What may feel right at one stage of your life may not feel right at another.  Even in the space of a few weeks or months, your “tastes” can change as you etherically and your body physically change.

Regardless of the “scene” you are in regarding your “dance,” here are some basic ideas you can use to consciously enhance your experience with food…

  • Respect and honor all food as the energy and life forms that they truly are.

  • Before taking food into your body, “bless” your food and give genuine thanks to Gaia and to Prime Creator as the sources of the food.  Also, remember to give thanks to all those in the “human loop” who have facilitated the delivery of food to you…the workers in the fields, the farmers, etc.  Doing so will stimulate a deeper appreciation within you for your food.

  • Eat more consciously and joyously…and view your food as a “gift.”  Don’t hurry, but simply allow yourself to enjoy the tastes and textures.  How often have you eaten something quickly or while talking and not even noticed how it tasted?  Take time to enjoy the “fruits of the Earth” as a divine reward for being in the physical.

  • Try to keep your foods as simple as possible, with the least amount of “ingredients” and processing.

  • Use only the highest quality and highest vibrational foods.  If you can afford it, try going organic on most of your foods and use range-free sources of meats and poultry.  Foods treated with love or made with love impart that energy to you as it enters your body.  Choose your foods carefully and when eating out, choose your restaurant equally carefully…noticing how the restaurant “feels” before deciding to eat there.

  • Finally, keep in mind that you do not have to be overly rigid regarding your “dance with food.”  It’s okay to have “excursions” from time to time, but it is always advisable to keep “excursions” small or to a minimum. Remember, no food is “bad” in its simple state – it’s what we humans do with it – like overprocessing or treating with pesticides, etc., that change it from being okay to being detrimental.  Of course, any food, even those considered beneficial, can be harmful if we are out of balance with it.  Remember the Buddhic philosophy of always taking “the middle way.”

As you do your “dance with food,” you’ll find that family members and friends may become concerned about changes you make in your “diet” or any weight loss that may result from eating more lightly.  Sometimes these social ripple effects can be quite challenging because of all the attention that’s placed, to one degree or another in our various cultures, on the foods we eat, our particular eating patterns, how we look, how heavy or thin we are, etc.  Do your best to avoid any distracting social pressures and just keep moving along with your spiritual development in the directions that feel right to you regarding food.

We wish you well as you move along your path…especially your uniquely divine dietary path towards a clear, healed and activated physical body.  Of course, we encourage you to continue to investigate other points of view on this subject and arrive at your own personal understandings for your “dance with food.”
